The Krystal Crave Cruiser has been spotted again. This time the 45 ft big rig, a.k.a the “Krystal kitchen on wheels”, was down in Shreveport on the set of the movie “Comeback“, a football film starring Ice Cube and being directed by Limp Bizkit’s lead singer, Fred Durst. The Krystal Crave Cruiser was on site, providing free Krystal hamburgers to the cast, crew and of course all the locals, who were hard at work serving as background extras.
The movie is based on the true story of a Pop Warner football team from a poor Illinois town. Ice Cube plays a former football star whose glory days are long gone but manages to find himself again by mentoring his niece (Keke Palmer), the first female in Pop Warner history to quaterback her team to the national championship.
We’re always suckers for the underdog turn hero movies, so you can bet we’ll catch this movie when it hits theaters - not to mention the fact that we’re extremely curious if any of the extras managed to sneak a Krystal box into a shot.
Never staying in one place very long, the Krystal Crave Cruiser is on the road again, crisscrossing its way across the South.
