Chattanoogans – say hello to your new Krystal restaurant opening on Wednesday, July 28 at 6 a.m. in north downtown Chattanooga on 3409 Amnicola Hwy!

This state-of-the-art Krystal resembles the Krystal-3D design and features an indoor ordering area, six drive-in stalls and a drive-thru window creating multiple points of service for guests – two of which are accessible from the car.

“This location is all about convenience for our Krystal Lovers,” said Fred Exum, chief executive officer, The Krystal Company. “There are a number of new city developments in the works downtown, and we’re excited to give our guests who live and work in the area another place to satisfy their Krystal cravings.”

The restaurant will feature a fresh interior design that pays tribute to the traditional Krystal look while showcasing the company’s modern, new image. It will also be a “Krystal HotSpot” with Free Wi-Fi for guests – a perfect place to enjoy a Krystal Burger and catch up on work while away from the office.

Krystal fans will also be excited to learn that in addition to the new Amnicola Krystal, the company has future plans for additional restaurants on Broad Street, East Brainerd and the Cleveland area. Just three more reasons to love Krystal!

And for all you noobies out there – a Sackful refers to an order of 12 Krystal Burgers served hot of the grill. We here at Krystalist would kill for an offer like that! So, don’t disappoint us. We expect to see all your shining faces out there in hopes to be one of the lucky 12.

But don’t worry, if for some reason you end up being number 13 – 500 (or more) in line, you will still get the chance to order all of Krystal’s signature food items including: Krystal Burgers, Krystal Chiks and Krystal Pups. The Krystal Company is setting its sights on growing its presence in Chattanooga and is starting with the opening of a brand new, company-owned Krystal restaurant in north downtown this summer. Situated at 3409 Amnicola Hwy, the new location will be the first Chattanooga-area opening in 10 years and joins more than 20 additional Krystal restaurants in the market. The new location marks the latest move in the company’s plans to grow its business through the development of company-owned stores in heritage markets, including a focus in the Chattanooga market.

“Chattanooga has always been an important market for The Krystal Company, both from a strategic viewpoint and historically, and you can expect to see it become even more so in the coming years,” said Fred Exum, president and chief executive officer, The Krystal Company.

In addition to the new Amnicola location, the company has future plans for additional restaurants on Broad Street, East Brainerd and the Cleveland area. These openings will coincide with two other large Chattanooga developments currently in the works including the Volkswagen plant and the Alstom turbine expansion, all of which will further commercial and population growth for the city.

“With the resurgence of development along the Riverwalk and major investments in the city like the Volkswagen plant creating thousands of new jobs, this is truly an exciting time for Chattanoogans,” said Exum. “The Krystal Company is excited and committed to being a part of this growth by extending our presence here in our hometown.”

The state-of-the-art Krystal is being built as a modular unit that will allow for a shorter construction time. The innovative restaurant concept is a blend of the Krystal-3D and the Krystal Kwik with a focus on customer convenience. It will feature an indoor ordering area, six drive-in stalls and a drive-thru window creating multiple points of service for guests – two of which are accessible from the car. Additional restaurant elements will include advanced drive-thru ordering technology, credit card and debit payment options and free Wi-Fi Internet access for guests.

The full-service Krystal located on Amnicola Hwy will be the first new build in Chattanooga since the opening of the Athens and Trenton locations in Tennessee 10 years ago. The Amnicola Krystal will bring more jobs to the community and employ approx. 30-35 people.

Ellijay residents will soon have a Krystal restaurant of their very own!

Krystal continues its expansion in the Atlanta metro area up north to East Ellijay, GA, with a new restaurant scheduled to open late summer of this year. Located at 124 Highlands Crossing South, the new eatery will join more than 60 Krystal locations currently in the greater Atlanta market.

The state-of-the-art Krystal restaurant in Ellijay will operate under the guidance of established Krystal franchise partner, Ejay Foods, Inc. This will be the second location for Ejay Foods partners and Murray County natives, Danny Ashe and Lisa Stafford, who also operate the Krystal restaurant in Chatsworth, GA.

You can expect to see all of Krystal’s signature food items on the menu including the Krystal Burger, Krystal Scramblers, Krystal Chiks and Krystal Pups. And since the opening will be in the middle of the hot, hot summers in Georgia, you’ll want to take advantage of Krystal’s ‘cooler’ options such as the Krystal Blitz, served “Frozen” or “On the Rocks;” one of Krystal’s all-natural MilkQuakes; or the newest frozen sensation, a Krystal Freeze.

Just like all Krystal restaurants, the Ellijay location will be a “Krystal HotSpot,” offering free Wi-Fi Internet access to guests. The restaurant will also feature advanced drive-thru ordering technology, credit card and debit payment options to make each and every visit quick, easy and convenient.

Kitchen staff at the Burleson Krystal location cheer as the Secret Recipe is delivered!

It was all cheers yesterday morning as the 78-year old Secret Krystal Recipe was delivered to the kitchen staff at the new Krystal location in Burleson, TX. As seen in the photos here, Krystal employees worked with smiles on their faces while getting ready to serve the Famous Krystal Burgers to all of the hungry guests lined up at the opening.

The first 10 customers in line received one Sackful Combo per week for an entire year. That’s 52 combos featuring 12 Krystal Burgers, two medium fries and two medium drinks. And, the first 100 customers in line were awarded a free No. 1 combo – four Krystals, a medium fry and drink.

According to Krystal representative Larry Graham, “We were thrilled to see the great response from the Burleson community. Everyone, including the Burleson Star, came out to help us celebrate the opening and enjoy a few Krystal Burgers hot off the grill!”
