I guess my first visit to Krystal was about the age of 12 probably at the restaurant located on Cherry Street in downtown Chattanooga. I have a very fond memory while growing up of a friend of mine’s mom buying he and I a bag full of Krystal hamburgers one evening and it was like one of the highlights of getting together. I remember Mr. Lupton’s large Krystal building in downtown Chattanooga and hearing about the growth of the company. And, if this is correct I understand and that Krystal commercials were produced at a “set” restaurant in Atlanta designed just for the production of those commercials. I thought that was facinating. I now live in Tupelo. And, although I did not frequent the first Krystal restaurant here, I was suprised when it closed. Thank you for the news site here. Thank you for the positive things you’ve contributed to Chattanooga.
