Blog Spotlight: The Tower of Krystals

A close up of The Tower of Krystals - just look at the precise alignment. Now that's art! Most people are familiar with the phrase, “If you build it, they will come.” However, we’re not talking about baseball. Oh yea, you guessed it. We’re talking about Krystal, or better yet, The Tower of Krystals.

Recently featured on Rambling’s blog and Twitter page (@rambling1on), the tale of The Tower of Krystals began with a family outing to Krystal where one of the children used all 20 empty Krystal boxes to create his own Krystal masterpiece. And in the words of Rambling, “Move over, Frank Lloyd Wright. Here’s the new standard in modern architecture… and it’s environmentally friendly as well as quite tasty!”

Of course, this isn’t the first we’ve heard of Krystal Lovers who dabble in Krystal Box Stacking, or what we like to call “Krystal Box Art,” but it’s fun to see what new Krystal constructions get made. Visit the following links to see some of the various box art highlights on Krystalist and vote for your favorite by posting a quick comment:

And if your creative juices are flowing, try stacking the baskets from Krystal’s new $5 Value Meal or one of the Big Angus Burger Basket Meals. We think it’s a little more challenging, but the tasty Double Bacon & Cheese BA makes for a great payoff.

Krystal’s New $5 Value Meal Has Jason D. Williams Rockin’ And Rolling

Be sure to check out FamousKrystal.com for an extended version of the new Krystal commercial with Jason D. Williams.

“I thought five dollar deals were a dime a dozen

Then I found the one that I’m really lovin’

Five bucks, Big Angus, so big and juicy.

Two Krystals, now I’m getting woozy”

Have you seen Krystal’s new commercial for its $5 Value Meal starring legendary piano rocker Jason D. Williams? If so, you’ve probably been singing the above.

A long time fan of the Krystal brand, Williams stars in the TV spots promoting Krystal’s new value meal that includes a Big Angus Burger, two Krystals, a basket of fries and a medium drink, all for just $5. Filmed last week at a Krystal restaurant in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the commercial can now be seen at FamousKrystal.com. The special site also features additional videos including personal Krystal stories about Jerry Lee Lewis, who reportedly once ate 108 Krystal Burgers.

Additional site elements include a number of behind-the-scenes photos from the recording session, special video clips and outtakes and a Jason D. Williams player along with videos of his live performances. You can share all of these great features with friends on Facebook and Twitter by simply clicking the share tool at the top right of the site.

For your listening pleasure, download the $5 Value Meal Ringtone and keep it on your phone to hear it anytime someone calls. And if you’re in the singing spirit, make a video or record yourself singing the original Jason D. Krystal tune and send it our way. We’ll feature it here!
