With summer coming to an end and the new school year approaching, parents, kids, college students and more are preparing for their back-to-school routines. And we here at Krystalist have a few suggestions to make the transition a little easier and more exciting!

First up – start your morning off right with a little Krystal breakfast. It’s official! The new, state-of-the-art Krystal restaurant located at 210 SW Wilshire in Burleson, Texas will open its doors at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 24. The opening day celebration will include the personal delivery of Krystal’s 78-year old Secret Recipe by a Krystal representative to the Krystal kitchen before the first customer is served.

Be sure to come out and try Krystal’s famous food items such as the Krystal Hamburger, Krystal Chik and Krystal Pup. You also won’t want to miss Krystal’s great-tasting beverages that are sure to cool you down this summer. The Krystal Blitz, the industry’s first branded energy drink that comes made-to-order “Frozen” or “On The Rocks” in a refreshing Lemon Berry flavor; Krystal Freezes, the company’s frozen slush drink featuring pure-cane sugar and natural flavorings; and MilkQuakes, a line of real ice cream milkshakes made with premium, all-natural ingredients, are just a few of the refreshing options for guests to cool down with while temperatures heat up.

Krystal continues its expansion into the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area with the announcement of its newest DFW location in Burleson, Texas scheduled to open in late Spring 2010. Situated at 210 SW Wilshire, the sleek and spacious eatery will showcase an expanded menu complete with a variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options that are bound to keep Krystal Lovers coming back for more.

The state-of-the-art Krystal restaurant in Burleson will operate under the guidance of established Krystal franchise partner, MAHS, Inc. This will be the second location for MAHS Inc. Owner Mohamad Soueid, who also operates the Grand Prairie restaurant in Texas.

“Texans continue to show quite a passion for the Krystal brand, and we’re excited to add another Krystal location to the DFW Metroplex area,” said Mohamad Soueid, owner and operator of MAHS, Inc. “With the new location in Burleson, Krystal lovers south of Fort Worth will no longer have to travel far to satisfy their craving for Krystal’s big taste menu items.”

Krystal Lovers celebrate more than five years of Free Wi-Fi use at restaurants across the South.

As you may know from our earlier blog post or your own personal experience, Krystal offers free wireless internet for its guests in locations all across the South. It started with one Krystal hotspot in 2003 showcasing Free Wi-Fi and has since been an innovative feature for all Krystal Lovers to enjoy in restaurants systemwide.

And we wanted to know how Krystal guests use and enjoy the Free Wi-Fi, so we recently polled Krystal’s Facebook Fans and Twitter followers to get feedback. We heard from Krystal Lovers who have done everything from participate in Krystal contests on Krystal.com while eating lunch to sharing on social media with friends to simply checking email. But don’t take our word for it, just read below!

Did you know that Krystal first introduced Free Wi-Fi Internet access to guests in 2003 at its UT Knoxville location? At 6 a.m. this morning, the brand new Krystal restaurant located at 1555 Walton Way in Augusta, Ga. opened its doors, giving area residents more than eight convenient locations to pick up their favorite big taste Krystal menu items hot off the grill.

In addition to Krystal’s full line-up of signature products including the famous Krystal Burger, Krystal Chik and Krystal Pup, the Augusta restaurant also features Krystal’s newest menu item, The Krystal Blitz.
